Customer terms

Terms of Service

These terms govern access to Venue Authority's self-serve software and API. By creating an account or purchasing capacity, you agree to use the service lawfully and keep your credentials confidential.

Service boundary

Venue Authority resolves merchant names and addresses to supported regulator records. The full corpus is not authority certification. Current-source presence does not prove legal operator identity or physical operation. Historical evidence is available only where retained source events support it. Coverage is not national, and the service is not legal advice, regulator endorsement, or a guaranteed SLA.

Accounts and use

You are responsible for your organization, users, API keys, request volume, and endpoint security. Do not share keys, evade limits, reverse engineer source systems, or use results as the sole basis for a legal or safety decision.

Capacity and changes

One unit covers one valid authenticated resolver or canonical-record request, including a fail-closed rejection. Prepaid units and supported jurisdictions are those shown in the plan catalog and Checkout summary. Portfolio monitoring and customer event webhooks are not part of this release. We may suspend keys for abuse, security, non-payment, or source-rights changes.

Support and liability

Support is asynchronous through the support page. Service outputs are provided with the stated source limitations. To the extent permitted by law, Venue Authority is not responsible for decisions made solely from an API response.
