Venue Authority serves supported regulator records that are approved for the requested delivery channel and have not been withdrawn.
The product serves admitted food-facility records from validated snapshots. Coverage is local, not national. Each response identifies the source, snapshot, and evidence boundary. The Coverage page reports source freshness separately from availability.
Public pages and authenticated API delivery use separate approval fields. Approval remains in effect until the source is explicitly withdrawn. A withdrawn source returns 410 and leaves the sitemap. Missing or unapproved source state returns 503 without source-derived content. Evidence timestamps remain available for monitoring and audit, but they do not act as an availability lease.
Source-specific attribution, permission legends, license links, modification notices, and raw-payload retention rules are release requirements. An authorized withdrawal can remove prohibited raw payloads while preserving permitted hashes and audit metadata.
